1. About Power of Touch Workshops
Power of Touch Workshops provides educational couples massage workshops, private massage workshops, advanced massage workshops, retreats, and related educational experiences.
Our workshops teach participants how to give safe, comfortable, enjoyable, nonprofessional massage to a spouse, partner, friend, or other workshop partner.
Power of Touch Workshops is an educational workshop business. We do not accept massage therapy clients through this business, establish massage therapist-client relationships with workshop participants, diagnose or treat medical conditions, or provide medical or mental health care through our workshops.
Although workshop instructors may be licensed massage therapists or other qualified professionals, their role during a Power of Touch Workshop is primarily educational.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Power of Touch Workshops,” “Power of Touch,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business operating the Power of Touch Workshops website, workshops, events, and related services.

- Medical care.
- Massage therapy treatment.
- Physical therapy.
- Mental health care.
- Diagnosis.
- Rehabilitation.
- Emergency care.
- Advice from a participant’s own health care professional.
Information shared by an instructor is general educational information. An instructor’s status as a licensed massage therapist does not automatically create a massage therapist-client relationship with workshop participants.
Participants are responsible for deciding whether they are physically able to participate and for consulting an appropriate health care professional when they have questions about an injury, illness, pregnancy, surgery, pain condition, or physical limitation.
Participants should stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, numbness, distress, or other concerning symptoms and notify the instructor when assistance or modification is needed.
7. Consumer Health Data
Power of Touch Workshops is not a HIPAA-covered health care practice and does not collect information for the purpose of providing medical or massage therapy treatment.
However, certain information collected in connection with a wellness-oriented workshop may qualify as “consumer health data” under Washington law.

9. Workshop Partners and Confidentiality
Couples and workshop partners may share personal information with each other during exercises or conversations.
Power of Touch Workshops cannot control what one participant later does with information voluntarily shared with that person.

- Ask before photographing or recording another participant.
- Avoid posting workshop images that include others without consent.

10. Consent, Touch Preferences, and Workshop Participation
Our workshops are built around communication, boundaries, and mutual consent.
Information about a participant’s preferences, boundaries, comfort, or areas they do not want touched is used only as reasonably necessary to support workshop participation and safety.
Participants may decline or stop a particular exercise, subject to any limitations explained in the workshop agreement.
One participant cannot consent to touch, photography, recording, or disclosure of personal information on behalf of another competent adult.
Workshop participation does not authorize Power of Touch Workshops to use a participant’s name, image, or personal story for marketing.
11. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors or e-commerce platforms.
These providers may collect:
- Payment-card details.
- Billing information.
- Device and network information.
- Transaction identifiers.
- Fraud-prevention information.
Payment processors handle information under their own privacy notices and security procedures.
Power of Touch Workshops generally receives transaction confirmation, payment status, card type, and limited card information rather than the complete payment-card number.

By providing a telephone number or email address, you authorize us to use it for communications reasonably related to your request, registration, purchase, or existing relationship.
Consent to promotional text messages is separate when required by law and is not a condition of purchase.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
You may opt out of promotional text messages by following the instructions in the message. Opting out of promotional messages may not stop essential workshop or transaction communications.

16. Website Analytics
We may use website analytics providers, including services offered by major website and search technology companies.
Analytics helps us:
- Understand website traffic.
- Identify technical problems.
- Improve navigation.
- Evaluate content.

When you interact with us through social media, the platform may collect information about:

19. Reviews and Testimonials
You may voluntarily submit a review or testimonial.
Reviews submitted through a public review platform are governed by that platform’s privacy policy and may be publicly visible.
We may ask for permission to reproduce a review, quote, or testimonial in our marketing. We will obtain any permission required before using identifiable information.
Submitting private feedback does not automatically authorize us to publish it.
A participant may revoke permission for future testimonial use by contacting us, subject to:
- Uses already completed.
- Materials already printed.
- Actions already taken in reliance on the authorization.
- Other legal or contractual limitations.
We will not disclose private workshop details when responding publicly to a review.

Participants who do not wish to be included should notify the instructor or event organizer. We will make reasonable efforts to respect those preferences.
Participants may not photograph or record another person without that person’s permission.
A participant’s consent to appear in a group photograph does not necessarily authorize use of the image for every commercial purpose. We will obtain a release when a release is appropriate or legally required.
Security cameras, when used at a venue, are intended for safety and property protection rather than workshop instruction or marketing. Venue operators may maintain separate security systems outside our control.

Medical care.
Massage therapy treatment.
Physical therapy.
Mental health care.
Diagnosis.
Rehabilitation.
Emergency care.
Advice from a participant’s own health care professional.

Payment-card details.
Billing information.
Device and network information.
Transaction identifiers.
Fraud-prevention information.
Payment processors handle information under their own privacy notices and security procedures.
Power of Touch Workshops generally receives transaction confirmation, payment status, card type, and limited card information rather than the complete payment-card number.
We are not responsible for a payment provider’s independent privacy practices, but we seek to use established providers with appropriate security measures.

Workshop registration.
Private workshop scheduling.

Consent to promotional text messages is separate when required by law and is not a condition of purchase.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
You may opt out of promotional text messages by following the instructions in the message. Opting out of promotional messages may not stop essential workshop or transaction communications.
15. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device. We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies.

Event platforms.
Referral partners.
Community publications.
Other online and offline channels.
Advertising platforms may use cookies or identifiers to measure advertising performance or display relevant advertisements.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
Certain privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include some disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money is exchanged. Where such laws apply, we will provide any required notices or opt-out mechanisms.

We may ask for permission to reproduce a review, quote, or testimonial in our marketing. We will obtain any permission required before using identifiable information.
Submitting private feedback does not automatically authorize us to publish it.
A participant may revoke permission for future testimonial use by contacting us, subject to:
Uses already completed.
Materials already printed.
Actions already taken in reliance on the authorization.
Other legal or contractual limitations.
We will not disclose private workshop details when responding publicly to a review.
20. Photography, Video, and Audio
We may photograph or record certain workshops, events, or educational demonstrations.
When recording is planned, we will provide notice and obtain permission when required.
